My last Parent's Corner for 2024. Hopefully a fun one.

I was making my daughter and myself some lunch earlier. My wife baked a whole chicken last night. It was tasty and produced much left over meat so I decided my daughter and I would have chicken wraps for lunch. We got the left over chicken, some cheese, lettuce and tortillas. Then I asked her "do you want pickles on your wrap"?

She replied "Piiiiiiiiiiiickkkkkkkkkles", so I took that as a yes.

When I was putting the wraps together I tried to dig the pickles out of the jar with a fork but they were proving to be kind of elusive as the last couple pickles in a jar can be, so I thought it a great time to make an awesome dad joke.

"Well, I am certainly in a pickle" I said.

My daughter replied "You can only be in a pickle if you are pickle juice".

I laughed and then she laughed. The chicken wraps were great.
