Took the kids to see Sonic 3 in 4dx and thought it was great, although a girl, my eldest is a big Sonic fan, i must have accidentally brainwashed her by osmosis as i will quite often revisit the OG games.
Jim Carrey was great, there were some good action bits and even a bit of heartstring-tugging.
we have now seen them all at the cinema and will later rewatch 3 in English when it hits netflix.
in a way, watching these movies has become a bit of a tradition, it's nice to see a new generation form their own attachments to franchises I loved as a kid.
even if you aren't a fan of the games, this is still a good movie to take the kids too imo.

it's a good one yeah, make sure you stay past the credits as they sneak in a reveal for another movie

i did catch the credits yeah, i was quite surprised actually because i didn't think there would be another, i don;t know how good it would be without Jim Carrey though, although they can do some cool stuff with metal sonic
