It’s crazy to see that much money go into ecash, considering all the vc money that has gone into it as well. 

In 2024 we received 929 individual donations for a total sum of $23.6M. The largest three were a generous $1,000,000 gift from the Reynolds Foundation, an incredibly generous $21M donation from #startsmall, and an anonymous donation of $1,000,000 made in bitcoin directly.

For some reason, I thought the #startsmall grant was smaller. This puts Dorsey at 89% of OpenSats' money. When you add Spiral, Dorsey has to be funding like 95% of bitcoin-ish open source right now. Crazy.
