Some people dont enjoy the flavor.
I also think it tastes good.
is red wild meat , less fat so you need to know how to cook it properly.
I have also almost every year good amount of wild boar. They are like a plague here and we hunt them a lot.
You just have to add some normal pig meat and fat and you get some excellent sausages

We dont have many wild boar around where I live, but I know down south there are more.

yes I went to some hunting parties every 2-3 years.
Not going by myself to hunt alone.
Where I have the citadel I have one that I try to keep him as my "friend" around. Don't want to hurt him. He's quite some nice guy and funny.
I would like to have some of them around "defending" my place :)

Maybe can put a pen up so that you can keep some wild ones around?
Might be worthwhile.
