I completely agree with the idea, the custodian wallets are excellent for the security but the funds in them are not managed by you directly but by the custodian company, however at the time of having the money stored, the non-custodian wallets offer the guarantee of being your own administrator of your funds, which evidently the care and control of the monetary fund placed there depends completely on the user.
