I know Lepard is making the rounds of the podcasts, and Max Kaiser gave it a big endorsement. I also know there are some SNers or lurkers who might have gotten access to an advance copy. Any insider info?
I like Lepard and am looking forward to reading it.
Not yet, my dude.
Good idea that I should try to get my hands on one. When is it coming out?

I was thinking of you but didn't want to put you on the spot.😀 Regular release Feb, I think, but kindle is earlier, and copies seen to be floating around.

Can't seem to find anything but podcast mentions. Do you know if he's self-publishing or has a publisher?
reply
I don't know. I can't find any mention of a publisher. Amazon doesn't have it on their site for a pre order either.
reply
I expect it will be worth the wait.

Just started it. My takeaway from his book is that his key Ideas are
  1. Network Effects Drive Value – Just like in telecommunications or social networks, financial assets and investments that benefit from network effects (e.g., Bitcoin, stock exchanges, or fintech platforms) tend to grow exponentially in value as more participants join.
  2. Compounding Returns – Investments in network-driven assets can create nonlinear growth rather than linear, meaning early adoption can yield outsized gains.
  3. Application to Cryptocurrencies & Tech Stocks – This concept is often used to justify high valuations of cryptocurrencies (like Bitcoin and Ethereum) and social media companies (like Facebook/Meta or Twitter/X).
  4. Risk of Overvaluation – While network effects can create exponential value, speculation can also lead to bubbles, as seen in dot-com stocks or crypto hype cycles.
So far, I'm impressed with Lepards wisdom.
