Ukraine has announced it will no longer allow Russian gas to flow through its pipelines to Europe, effective January 1. This decision comes despite urgent requests from the European Commission for continued energy supply.
Georgiy Tykhyi, a spokesperson for Ukraine's Foreign Ministry, emphasized that discussions with non-Russian regional partners are underway to address the looming energy crisis.
As winter approaches, Europe faces a stark choice between energy security and geopolitical tensions, with Ukraine opting for independence over reliance on Russian gas.
It's almost absurd to watch Ukraine blackmailing the European Union. Let's see how far the EU will sink, how far Germany will go into economic disaster before a change in thinking occurs.

What will EU do now? Isn't it too cold there? Who would supply them with the gas and at the same price?
Lot of questions. I don't think EU will get over it easily.
reply
Only some EU countries still buy gas from Russia. For example, Baltic countries stopped doing it long time ago. And we have underground storage facility in Latvia that has enough gas reserves for year or so.

Doubling down. That's what degenerates do

the EU will see this as a good chance to try and force everyone to buy shitty heatpumps for 30k euros.

100%, it's already going on in the UK too with them talking about banning gas boilers. honestly, i miss the days when the gov would just fuck off and stop interfering. let people buy heat pumps if they want, stop trying to punish everyone.
most of Bulgaria doesn't even use gas, we use a log burner on central heating in my house and it's fucking epic, so cozy.

Many cold will wake people up, Ukraine is the UK/US lapdog and they are at war as much with the EU (economically) as with Russia (militarily)

Ukraine is really playing the only card they have left.

to watch the US and the UK blackmail the EU and hide behind the hapless satellite whose salaries are paid for by the EU* (fixed it)

Indeed interesting to see how long this lasts.
Some uppity schmuck at the edge of the empire thinking they can dictate terms.
Exciting winter.
