I think that's a fair take given the lack of context and not knowing who said it. 

indeed.  if they plan to die with nothing then bitcoin is not appropriate for them.  if they wish to participate in the next generation in perpetuity then it is for them

Am I correct in assuming the following?:

- Our hypothetical 80 year old is childless

-  He or she has no relatives or friends to whom they wish to leave a legacy

- He or she has no charity or worthwhile cause that they believe in enough to aid after their death

- He or she is an in the moment, live for today kind of person
