In Venezuela, it’s a Christmas tradition for companies, friends, and families to organize a Christmas dinner every year. Basically, it involves going to a restaurant with all your favorite people and eating the typical Venezuelan Christmas dish, consisting of hallaca, salad, and ham bread. Often, gift exchanges also take place at these events. It's kind of like Thanksgiving dinner but in the Venezuelan version.
So today, I want to share some photos I took at our Christmas dinner. This is what our table looked like, full of gifts since we all brought one to exchange:
While everyone was talking, I took the opportunity to snap a few photos of them while they were distracted, haha:
As a photographer, I obviously end up taking all the photos of my friends at social gatherings, and this occasion was no different. Seeing me with the camera in hand, they asked me to take them photos:
Usually when I make this kinds of posts, I don't appear in the photos, but since it was a special occasion, I also wanted some photos. So I told one of my friends to use my camera to take some photos of me and my lovely girlfriend:
Time passed, and everyone started ordering cocktails. I managed to take one last photo before the restaurant turned off the main lights and put on music. After that, I didn't have enough light to take more photos with my camera without blowing out the ISO...
It was a beautiful night with friends.
I hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I did. Thanks for watching!
