Hey good idea, however I will be keeping custody of the wallet until they are 18 or 20 years old so i have about 18 years. Others (adults) I would keep custody for them as well and if they eventually decide to show interest I'm like hey I already have a million sats for you stored in cold storage and I can then send them a % to their wallet of choice or educate them on how to use the wallet. If they reject completely and want to sell for fiat for lets say a gucci bag then I can gladly decide to keep the sats myself so it's already mine and in my custody.

The Gift of Gifting Sats to Loved Ones

i think gifting sats to people that havent expressed interest is a pretty thoughtless gift, but if ur gonna do it you should gift them say sats in an lnbits or nwc wallet that is hosted on your lightning node. that way, when they lose the wallet and/or never use it...you still have the sats.
