GR really puts the emphasis on me voting on his list. But I need to clarify I was having breakfast with my wife at the time and casted my vote just by a quick eye test. Your list have my vote, but said list may or may not have my approval after working out my own rankings list.
I agree why I had OKC over the Celtics was pretty much for the same reason Undisciplined outlined. OKC are hustling on both offense and defense; while Celtics just come out and chuck up a bunch of 3's. The way the Celtics are playing isn't that fun to watch and they are not playing hard enough for me to give them number 1. That said, I really hope the Celtics turn it up and show a playoff mode come playoff time.
To be fair, switching to the Magic from the Pacers for the prediction contest is a major upgrade for GR. And I do understand your strategy there. Plus, the Magic is a fun team to watch. They are playing hard and playing well, even without their stars. Wish you the best of luck.
This season really feels like the time of the old guard has passed, and the up and coming generation is really taking over. I agree there are certain games where teams just keep on chucking up 3's, even when they're missing. But certain teams and certain players are just plain fun to watch. I guess as viewers, we really have to pick which team / players to watch, and that greatly affect your experience. Don't tell me Wemby having a 30 point double double (with 10 blocks as the other double digit stat) the other night against the Trail Blazers isn't fun to watch.
Did you guys catch any games tonight? I didn't watch any of the 3 games tonight due to going for a movie in the theatres with my wife. But I was surprised to see the Pelicans took the Nuggets to OT and the Nuggets only won by 3 in that one. Going to catch the highlights on that one.
Let’s do this next time. We will let you know when we are going to update our rankings. Then you can do your list but not show it to us until ours are done. Whoever’s list is closest to yours is voted the winner.
I didn’t catch any NBA tonight. I was watching football but I did periodically check the Rockets and Raptors score.

I don't think my list should be use a reference or be used to judge a "winner". All 3 are just subjective lists based on how we each feel the teams are doing, based on the current state of the league. I don't think any list is "better" or "superior" than another, and thus, can't really have a "winner". Yes, the list isn't completely subjective, as I would be called a fool if I have the Wizards anywhere away from the bottom 3; but there is still a level of subjectivity to the lists based on the objective performance of the teams.
I think it would be fun to announce a planned update of the list, and we, or any other stacker that wants to talk basketball, write the list on their own. Then we have a set date for everyone to post their list. It would be fun to compare everyone's lists and see where we agree and where we disagree. Doing this on our own also decreases the likelihood of anyone's list influencing someone when they try to come up with their own list. We can then definitely pat on one another's back over the similarities and argue over the differences.

Your list was the winner this time, based on the scoring system I devised.
