I like going because I have been going for a long time, almost since they opened. I know the workers and owners and can talk with them about what they would recommend to read. Most of them are reading all the time when not shelving or talking to customers. I have gotten some really great recommendations from them.
When I was living in Japan, I would ask them for perhaps 20 books of my choosing and about 30 of their choosing to send to me when I finished reading the ones I had on hand. Since they knew what I liked they always made great selections and threw in some new authors they thought were good.
Wow didn’t know your Japanese is so good to consume novels at such an intense rate

No, no, those books were in English and were coming from the US. My Japanese is not nearly so good! For that you would have to talk to one of my sons.
