I agree. But there's a reason behind it. Safekeeping Bitcoin requires a lot of self-reliance which people are generally bad at.
Why I made a point about UPI being successful in India because it's not such a technology where when you don't remember the pin number or password you gonna lose money. Whereas Bitcoin is opposite to it.

Ahh! I must've told ya. It's Unified Payment Interface through which we can send money to anyone in India without fees at any time.
It's touted as one of the best innovations in our times.
We just require our mobile number to link with UPI and with our bank and we're ready to pay. It's made in India and now more than 50 countries are using it.
Said it's better because it's easier to understand and run.

Sounds good and functional. But as a centrally controlled thing, it seems like a cdbc type thing right? You can see why Bitcoin is different?
