That is how I tend to look at it. The rewards I got through Fold making the purchase will eventually pay for it and the sats earned will eventually be worth the cost of the electricity.

I think it'll be worth it in the long term for you though. Think of it as an investment in the future, those sats you’re earning now could outpace fiat by a long shot down the road.

I'm sure it would be cheaper to just buy the sats. I wanted to start mining, because I want to help the network. Any sats I earn are a bonus.

There's also the slight offset to our heating costs, as these things run pretty hot, but that's also going to be pretty trivial.
