Which one do you have? I have ordered the Gamma model I believe.
At the rate of 66 sats per day I will probably not join a pool, it's better to just go lottery mode outside of a pool, cross your fingers every 10 minutes and hope for the best, the downside of not making 66 sats per day is definitely offset by the upside in case you find a block.
I have the Gamma as well.
Yeah, I can agree. There is CK pool as well https://solo.ckpool.org/

I might switch to this.

Don't you have a node at home? Like an Umbrel, Start9, Raspiblitz, or whatever else.
You'll have the best performance and will become a true sovereign Bitcoiner if you do so. Maybe you even spot opportunities to build something that could help others have an easier time.
An added benefit of these nodes is that you can also self-host a bunch of cool stuff so you need to rely less and less on external parties.

No, I'm a noob who's just getting started. I'm sure I'll get there.

Fair enough brother, you are at the right place, so that's good for you! :D
I've been reading some people who completely abandoned the path of using these miniaturized nodes and are using PCs, old laptops, etc, to run their nodes instead. Both Umbrel and Start9 have their operating systems open souce, so you can just run them and get all the automation and benefits they pack out of the box.
So whatever works for you, but if you are a curious soul like me you'll want to give some of these "guys" a try, you'll enjoy and learn a lot in the process.

There is also this very helpful video about Datum and routing it directly to your node. I haven't done it quite yet, but I would like to - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ6Hax3wcY8&list=LL&index=16&t=3073s
