With regard to the 1,500 pages... there should be some rule which limits the total size of all laws, as measured by reading time, to a certain amount.
It's just crazy how bloated the system has become.

The best way I can describe it would be reading it as if it were a scientific paper. There is a ton of legal crap that has to be included from a lawsuit over the law way just like with scientific papers having all of its extra crap that you do not really ever read.
Like lawyers will read those extra sections just like how certain researchers will read the extra crap in scientific papers but to 99.9% of people you don't read it.
One thing I would say is while I agree with a length limit for 99.9% of the bills ones that spend hundreds of billions should be really thorough and say X money goes to Y instead of leaving stuff up in the air.
