I'm maybe a little biased because of having lived in the Balkans for most of my time since emigrating from Australia, but it seems to me like the ripest ground is Serbia.

I moved to Bosnia partly because the local food is just a little better overall than Serbia but I'm essentially probing this topic because I'd like to be closest to the highest density of plebs. For sure, Sarajevo is near zero density of bitcoiners, Banja Luka seems to be a hotspot and so does Novi Sad.

I spent almost 2 years in the Netherlands, as I have a passport, most of that time I was homeless. Spent most time in Bulgaria, have residence there until 2026. Spent time in Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, Germany. I just can't picture myself in any other place, nothing in scandinavia for sure, france (cough) spain, portugual. Not interested in Poland or any of the baltic states, at all, at all. Romania's western edge is nice.

Most of western europe is just way too expensive and now, completely bonkers energy policy, and prior to that, medical fascism.

Bosnia became my current preference because of its good cheap beef and relatively low energy prices. The downside here is without residence permit I have to pay 5-8 euro per cash withdrawal from my bulgarian neobank credit card. Going to be testing how it works with Revolut next.

I'm currently in Sarajevo but it seems like there is zero plebs in this town. There is much more in Banja Luka, which seems to be the Bitcoin capital of Bosnia. I just didn't go there because in 2019 I lived there for a bit around a lotta shitcoiners and I wasn't very happy about that experience.

But I'm open to going where the plebs are, that's why I started this thread.
