When I smashed it I was surprised at how hard it was. Over time I guess the paint would weather or peel. It might not be a solution for 25 years. Maybe 5 years, but that's just a guess

I'd be interested to know how the epoxy&metal corrosion impacts over 25year span
might be some existing material research out there already addressing this question
