First of all, I'm not the FED :) Second, I don't want to know when did you get into Bitcoin.

I've been in Bitcoin for a few years. One of the things I enjoy the most is listening to Bitcoiners tell me how or why they got involved with Bitcoin.

I've met some people who came across Bitcoin because they were buying "stuff" on Silk Road. A few months ago, I met a man, about 75 years old, who bought some BTC because he was playing online poker, and BTC was the "token" of that casino.

Yesterday, I met a Portuguese guy who learned about BTC because his database was hacked, and he was asked for a ransom to be paid in Bitcoin.

Just wondering what other interesting stories are out there. Could you share yours?

I started with bitcoin because I read that you could earn 'free' bitcoins by mining on your personal computer! After a few months the mining poll robbed me.

Mi historia es aburrida jajaj lo conocí jugando Bfast Bfree, me ganaba algunos sats, pero estos se tenían que retirar a Coinbase. Cuando quise sacar los sats de coinbase no pude porque las comisiones eran mayor al monto que tenia, entonces decidí esperar a tener más o que las comisiones bajaran (era lo que pensaba en ese momento por ignorancia) pase un tiempo sin entrar a coinbase y fue cuando me los decomisaron.
