This is a great video explaining what happened to that submarine full of wealthy Titanic enthusiasts who were killed when the vessel catastrophically failed.

It is sad to see how ego and greed by the owner got in the way of sound engineering. This vessel was found to be flawed from the onset of design but yet the owner ignored all the warnings. The engineers tried to use their expertise to keep people safe but the ambitions of an egotistical owner couldn’t be stopped.

Unlike the challenger explosion which was caused by an error in calculations this was willful ignorance that caused people to lose their lives.
