"Hoarding" is a fiat term invented by politicians to justify taking from everybody, it used to be called savings. Saving hard money makes people free and gives them the power to spend on something meaningful whenever they feel like it instead of holding a melting ice cube. If you buy and live in your house, are you hoarding it?

I am also grateful for sound money. And no, in owning a home, you are meeting your needs. I own property because I like to have a place to stay. Nothing wrong with owning a house. You use a house. How do you use sats in cold storage?
