Provoked by US? It's harsh dictatorship, none of my Belarusian friends likes him. Just everybody is afraid, it can be compared to Stalin rule.
Of course, so can any country’s overlord be compared to Stalin, but they all fail the test. Stalin stacked the bodies like there was not enough rotting flesh in the world. He was, maybe, the second greatest mass murderer in the world after Mao. Where does the dictator of Belarus fit into this picture? How many has he killed either personally or at his order? Do you know of the Holodomor?

There are thousands in prisons, including teenagers. Arrested people during last mass protests were fucked in the asshole with batons by police. And a lots of people have disappeared too. Ok, there are no gulag camps, that is nowadays more of a PRC thing.
P.S. Yes, I know of Holodomor, of course. Moscow is another evil, Lukashenko is their vassal.
