Bill Gates, the same imbecile who thought that nobody would ever need more than 640kb of RAM memory now says he would short Bitcoin. Hilarious, isn't it?

I agree with your perspective. In his life, Bill has literally brought governments to their knees for his own profits. With the amount of wealth and power he's got he can literally do anything. But I doubt he'll do anything to Bitcoin.

With the amount of money he has, he can do almost anything.
It doesnt mean it is smart.
I feel like many people think people with money = intelligence.

Look at the genealogies of the European royal families. If intelligence was required to be rich, none of those would be.
Being the progeny of rich people is what makes people rich. The american dream is such a fallacy.

Did anyone on CNBC say "you CAN short bitcoin"

I wonder if he will really try, though.
Especially after hearing all the news of how the president supports bitcoin.
Not that he really does or anything.

The funniest thing about this comment is at the time he of course could have shorted Bitcoin but likely didn't.

He will be able to do it successfully when it goes from about 1 million USD down to $250K-$300K.

Total BS, nothing is stopping him or his tax-free hedge fund (i.e., Bill and Melinda Gates fundation) to short BTC, there is no shortage of ways to get rekt even with leverage if he is so sure

This is from 2018. If you had used a link post, it would have told you:
I hope you didn't use a link post or removed 2018 from the title intentionally.

I heard somebody commenting on that on a video and I looked up the link myself. I did not realized it was an old news, I'm sorry about it.
He thinks the same think today, and he advised MICROS~1 shareholders accordingly:
