I have a couple of thoughts on this and I am not sure how others see this. The reason that Alex Jones and Infowars were for sale was because of the Sandy Hook families suing and winning $1.2 billion from him. When The Onion put in their bid it had support from these Sandy Hook families so it is a little surprising to me give how the judge complimented The Onion and their bid but shot it down for not being the highest that the families were not taken into more consideration. After all this money is supposed to go to them so what if they go hey we don't care about the money we would rather this company go to someone/company doing stuff to address gun violence. To me it just seems to common sense.
