This really affected the privacy of people that used LLCs to protect their addresses and identities using LLCs in a couple states that have more respect for privacy. Most states already make public the beneficial owners of LLCs.

Not excusing the FinCEN overreach. Its disgusting but so are the polices of most state's that grant LLCs. I don't think that is getting enough attention. There are people have real reasons to protect their home address from the public. I think that should be universal but some people are more public targets than others.

What was truly disgusting to me about this was how it wasn't required for larger companies.
