It's not Christmas yet, but this is probably the only Christmas song I can stomach anymore šŸ˜‚

If you want fun and metal, try nanowar of steel - valhalleluja.

šŸ¤£ I love how Odin is just Thomas Winkler as Angus McFIfe with an eye patch šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ā˜ ļø

Yep. Thomas's voice is nuts. Awesome range. But him playing Odin was the icing on the cake of this song for me.

His turn in Emerald (especially Unleashed) is a testament to the range. He does like four sorts of power metal vocals without committing to one throughout the album. šŸ¤˜

Some of those high notes... šŸ˜±šŸ˜±šŸ˜± His guest appearance with feuershwanz when they did warriors of the world united was higher than the clientele at Woodstock.

what a song and a band :P Thanks Shane

There's something heartbreaking and 'homey' about his lyrics.
I really need to do a deeper dive, It's only the last several years I've really given some of it a good listen. Need to do the full album playthroughs still though.

There are days I wish I still bought every single CD I could, stuck it in my car and left it there for weeks until I knew every word, drum beat, bass line.
I feel like streaming has broadened my appreciation for things I'd missed, knew of but didn't give enough time to (Shane MacGowan/The Pogues in this instance) but also provides a huge distraction with the ability to "skip".
