Not the first time. That’s why they tell people to only use the custodial wallet for experimentation. You can get your own free LNbits server with any node hosted on Voltage. I’ve been using my own LNbits server on Voltage for a few months and haven’t had any problems with it.
Voltage isn't free. For small projects or dev experiments LNbits is perfect. But not perfect enough because too often down time.

I just meant they don’t charge extra for the LNbits server and it’s a one click install. Lite nodes are cheap and if you’re just experimenting you can turn the node off when you’re not using it. Voltage only charges you when your node is on.

Then run your own instance. Lnbits.com is ONLY for demos, not to be used in production !
reply
How difficult to maintain a demos site thoug? I'd reserve but will follow the advice to try my own instance. Thank you, guys.
reply
I think you don't understand the word "demo". That instance is ONLY to test new stuff, so will always be restarted, shut down, updated etc. You do not use it for personal use. Complaining that a demo site is not online is lame.
reply
I daresay I know what demo means much better than you as I have developed 12 systems in my career all with demos. Most of them has a demo domain like https://demo.domain.com or a subfolder like https://domain.com/demo.
reply
I don't think so. What developer you are if only if is a subdomain named "demo" you considered a demo? LOL means you never read LNbits devs warning. Even when you create a new demo account is warning you.
So yeah, now I see what kind of developer you are...
reply
if your main domain is offline, nobody can read your so-called "warnings", it's not about what type of developer, it's logic n UX.
reply
why do you need the main site domain when you (should) have your OWN instance of lnbits? Your logic is broken too.
