Wow I have 4 cats and yes sometimes I call them like that. I thought I am just lucky (or crazy) talking with my cats, but now I see that others also are using the same technique to call their cats.
It didn't work with my 6 cats! I think Brazilian cats have their own language πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Think about that also in English we have so many pronunciations of the same word that can have different meaning. Who knows what are you saying to him right now and he's like "WTF he's talking about?"

I've tried that with my cat, and it works sometimes. She comes pretty often when I call her name or make kissing noises. Were chilling on the couch right now even.
