We open-source Onyx and tour the docs: https://github.com/OpenAgentsInc/onyx
Because the agent economy must be built on a foundation of openness, not black-box bullshit with unverifiable claims and code!

Can you give us a few sentence summary for what open agents do? Is it like a personal AI assistant or is it a freelancing work kinda thing?
Was wondering the same thing.
Yes:
"Onyx is your personal AI agent that responds to voice commands, grows smarter & more capable over time, and earns you bitcoin. It's part of the OpenAgents network where every agent makes all agents smarter."
Specific feature-set is open-ended because as a NIP-90 client it will evolve new features as the market adds them :)
Longer explanation of the model here - https://github.com/OpenAgentsInc/openagents - and in episode 141 posting tonight
Any specific questions let me know :)
Sounds interesting, I'll have to dig in a bit when I have time.

Thanks! What are the system requirements to run this?
For now it should be any computer that can run a React Native Expo development environment, so most any Windows/Mac/Linux computer plus the relevant Android or iOS device or emulator.
Once we have the codebase to a point where it's worth testing, probably end of next week, we'll add better setup instructions in the README. Most people will want to wait for the test builds via TestFlight and Google Play or raw APKs, ETA 7-10 days on those.
For now if you want to try local setup, check out the Expo environment setup instructions: https://docs.expo.dev/get-started/set-up-your-environment/
Cool, I'll check out the local setup. Keep us posted about the releases if you can.
