When you love someone you’re giving a part of yourself away. It’s raw and is weak you’re opening yourself up to the possibility of rejection, of pain, of not being loved back in the same way. Loving someone can be very scary because it means stepping into the unknown, but it can also feel amazing because you’re choosing to care for and cherish someone. It’s a power and also a risk. On the other side being loved isn’t effortless as it looks. It feels good to be adored, but it can also be overwhelming. Think about it for a sec. do you feel worthy of the love you receive? do you trust it completely or question it? being loved also means confronting your insecurities and learning to accept that someone sees something beautiful in you even when you don’t see it yourself.

If you have never been loved, it is difficult to give an opinion on whether loving makes you weak or weaker. It depends a lot on whether you have had good love experiences and the type of love you are talking about
