I know it’s just rice and spam (or luncheon meat), but wrapping the food in plastic wrap imbues it with a tinge of class. Don’t you agree?

No, the food like this is usually not hot. It is made for snacks and cold lunches or for emergency food in your back pack.

Immensely! I have to try this sometime. It wasn’t a thing when I was in Japan. Onigiri, yes! But onigiri with spam, no. It looks like my kids might have tried it when they went to Japan.

All the time I lived there, I hardly ever saw either spam or peanut butter (please, don’t tell me peanuts cream is the same as peanut butter). Now that I live here, I hardly ever see good fish or tiramisu.
