I think this is one of the best parts of SN, when you're here, it's like you describe, in a matter of a couple of minutes you already find something good to read or learn from. And once you get the satisfaction of participating and maybe collecting some SATS, you can easily disconnect, and be able to be without the need to fall into anxiety about using the platform.
Something that happened to me personally, is that now I limit myself to just watching, because before I would easily leave comments on Youtube or Twitter, both on topics of interest and on topics that I found unpleasant, and then I began to notice that I simply had more interaction with things that I didn't like. And it left me feeling angry and wanting more.
Now I don't participate in confrontations and I limit myself to just giving my opinion, if I consider that it will leave some value, otherwise I don't do it!
And I went from using Twitter every day to once or twice a week and that's because I use it as a news source to know what's happening around the world, now I only check my Amethyst app and use my SN profile.
I use it as a news source to know what's happening around the world
It was the same here.
But now I get the news even faster on SN (with South Korea yesterday) or Swan on Nostr this week.
There is no need for X in my life anymore.
