Hive is a pretty interesting company esp. when you look back at when they started operations and everyone was coming at BTC for running on "dirty" fossil fuel power. Their miners are run off of solely renewable power and if I am still correct there operations were all stationed at hydropower dams. Since Paraguay tends to have an enormous excess of hydropower it is a great fit for Hive and Paraguay with Hive saying the following
the deal benefited the government: Instead of selling their cheap electricity to neighboring Argentina, they could flog it to Hive for its mining operation and receive dollars—and it works as an inflation hedge.
