Anxiety awareness is a gift. We all experience some form of anxiety. Comfort, non-anxiety, is mostly a product of familiarity. When you begin consciously experiencing your anxiety, you can stop reflexively seeking comfort and the familiar. For free, the price of discomfort, you can do something new.
You don’t need to get as far as anxiety, you can go for just discomfort. Once you leave your comfort zone, you get to the gloriously new.
