Imagine... you strike out Aaron Judge or Ohanti only.... to face them immediately again...
There just isn't a need for this but I will say as an Astro fan who suffered through years of Martín Maldonado you just have to chalk up some at-bats as outs. We already have the universal DH which I am not the biggest fan of since some pitchers were good hitters like Zack Greinke.
Only way I am for the golden rule idea is if they make pitchers hit in both leagues!
It also really screws up the 3 batter rule. I mean if you have your lefty specialist in because you are facing L R L but then they put in Aaron Judge instead of one of the lefties and you can't change the pitcher is kind of crazy.
