I am not sure, to be honest. In Germany, a teacher is assigned to a new 5th grade class when they come to our school. He is the class teacher, so he will take this class until graduation. He is in charge of all the administrative work for that class and is an idol, if you will.

In 8th grade, they complete a two-week internship at a company of their choice. We help them apply and show them how the whole application process works. During these two weeks they get to know the work and processes in that particular company.

In 9th grade, we basically do the same thing again, but here they already work for two weeks. They are not just following and looking around, they are going to work 6 hours a day for two weeks in a company.
