The top Democrat on the House Administration Committee, New York Rep. Joseph D. Morelle, 38-year-old Communications Director was arrested by Capitol Police today after his bag went through the x-ray scanner and had some issues. When his bag was searched they found 4 magazines and a whooping 11 rounds of ammunition. No firearm though just 4 mags and 11 bullets... which also makes me wonder if that means he only had ammo in one mag or what?

Did the House Sargent at Arms send out any sort of notification?! Nope I saw it on the news... on CNBC that this had happened... so we continue to have failures in keeping us (staff and Members) in the loop about security situations. We got a avoid because of police activity notification but those go out for all sorts of stuff like pulling over a car for speeding in front of one of the buildings.

Do have to love it was a Dem Members staff though... that's just ironic
