France used to run 90% on nuclear but now it is 65% so it had become more vulnerable and its energy independence strategy is jeopardized by decades of bad energy policy decisions

France is strong in nuclear power generation and exports electricity. However these are Eurozone numbers and show the impact of France's debt. Nothing to do with power generation in aggregate.
