The kernel of truth here is that America could easily cease being the only game in town. If the ruling classes in the rest of the world stopped knee-capping their economies, capital would flow away from America.
That's a big if and it's likelihood is priced in, which doesn't bode well for the rest of the world.

Then again, if things were different I would probably have a different opinion:)
