The warmth and comfort of a woodstove. I can feel it.

When we had a wood stove, we didn’t have any cats or dogs. But the kids used to like standing next to it, backs turned and butts closest to the stove. Me, too. That heat is the best feeling heat available, even better than baseboard heating or radiator heating. I used to love it. One more plus is that we always had very hot water when we wanted it because we kept a large kettle on it.

Nothing like a warm backside! That stuff is too good for just plain ol’ cats and dogs!

Good to see they're now friends with each other.
So, the winters are setting in there? Late this time or as usual?

Pretty normal for this time of year. These two have gotten along well their whole lives. This young lady is the wildcard:

Ahh! I thought the white one laying there is the lady.
The lady looks a bit weaker as well? Is she doing all good?

Oh yeah. She's fine. Leaping into the sink to eat sponges. Jumping over dogs, cats, and people. She's an athlete. I can't keep any weight on her despite feeding her three large meals a day. She burns a lot of energy.

Now they got too hot. I remember when sofas were for people.
