Grave of the Fireflies is the most memorable because it is so heartfelt and honest. Probably my favorite, but a challenging watch. The Cat Returns and The Tale of Princess Kaguya I enjoy rewatching.
Yes, Grave of the Fireflies was good but a tough one to watch, knowing who was doing that and why! It was lived experience.
I only chose The Cat Returns because it's the only one I have seen. I did like it.
I have seen a few of them, but not all because I found them too different from the Miyazaki anime. Another one I watched was Tales from Earthsea because it was a book written by Ursula K. LeGuin, a famous sci-fi author.
Fun fact: The main character Shizuku Tsukishima from Whisper of the Heart inspired Lofi Girl.
That’s interesting! I didn’t know that those anime inspired something in the real world.
The cat in Kiki’s delivery service was Gigi. Cats are named that very often.
From Up on Poppy Hill is such a beautiful film that I will definitely be watching with my little girl in the future to introduce her to the world of Ghibli.
That is a good one. Totoro is usually the gateway into Ghibli, that is how I entered that world.
I have to confess that I have not watched any of the movies here haha
You have some decent movies to watch ahead of you. Arrietty was a good one, too.

I did, too. But not all of them. The Cat Returns was one I watched only once and never copied.
