Mises points out that running a business and running a bureaucracy are two totally different regimes. If Musk wants to make agencies and bureaucracies more efficient, he’s is better off taking them totally private and then running them as businesses. I don’t know if he will get the chance to do that though, there is too much opposition to that.
Exactly right. Any part of the government that does something useful, needs to be spun off into a private enterprise, with no special protections. The first step is just to remove all the barriers to entry faced by potential competitors to the government.

YES!! The big problem is that NPCs will always ask, “Without the government doing __________, how will it get done?” They do not realize that those things always got done before the strongest gang government took over the chore! Roads, railroads and education are some of the best example of this.
