When I was in 8th grade, many years ago, I had a science teacher who gave us a first night assignment to find out about Occam's Razor. This was way before the internet, and encyclopedias of the day didn't mention him or his razor. We all descended on the small local library. No one had a clue. That assignment sticks with me more than half a century later, and I still apply it in my life.
