It is still a quantum leap better than the privatised US health system which is the least efficient health system in the world.
US health care system is a great example of how privatisation can be a complete and utter disaster.
There are some things governments can do better than private enterprise.
Do you live in Canada?
reply
Dont need to to know the US privatised health system is a complete disaster.

So how can you assert it is a quantum leap better if you have never interacted with it?

Can you not observe things from a distance?

Sure you can observe and assume but you can’t assert. You know nothing about the struggles my family has incurred in the Canadian healthcare system. And the fact that you flippantly imply it is better than something else without experiencing it pisses me off because we endured a lot of hardship.
So yeah, screw your observations pal.

I know nothing about your families struggles and I am asserting nothing about your families struggles with the Canadian system.
But I can and do assert from afar that the US privatised health system is one of the most inefficient inequitable systems in the world and certainly more inequitable and inefficient than the Canadian public health system.
Would you prefer to be living under the US healthcare regime?
Note all healthcare systems demand a difficult process of allocating resources which is always ultimately limited and some people will always feel aggrieved - however we were discussing general systems and their relative pros and cons and so you now raising your individual and family circumstances is totally inappropriate as I do not know and have not been commenting on your families specific issues and you have not previously raised them and have not even now described them so please stop changing the terms of reference and context of the dialogue and show some respect for the basic rules and principles of a fair and good faith contest of ideas.
