Snell is inconsistent. I can't believe they gave him this much money. I know they are analytics driven and don't really want their starters going deep in games but that's a lot to pay for a guy that will likely only give you 4-5 innings per start.

I am guessing Burnes wants more or a longer term deal, otherwise why not sign him instead.
