In this clip, we discuss our cricket pool strategies (or lack thereof), before talking about having an America vs the world competition.
This idea clearly has legs, but we need to pin down exactly how to do it.
One idea, that just popped into my head, is to make it a meta competition. We (@grayruby or someone else who isn't me) can keep track of the winners of all the ~Stacker_Sports competitions and award an end of year winner for Team America or Team International.
How dare you write team America before Team International? ;)
First of all thanks for giving me a mention there. I listened the POD in the morning today. It was the funniest part of all. I really look forward to any sort of competition against America. I'd love to beat them brutally.
But I don't like the idea of keeping track all the winners and then award a winner. This won't be equal opportunity.
I think we can do both. Have specific team competitions but also track the winners throughout the year for bonus points. I am sure by the time the new year rolls around and we keep getting feedback and iterating on the idea we will come up with something good.
This makes some sense now. Having both is ok.
For the specific competition I've a few suggestions.
Only difference is that we have a multisport pool.
Great suggestions. I agree.
Great feedback. Bookmarking for when we work on the format and rules.
Thanks. I think you should make a post asking stackers for which side they are and come up with the announcement post as early as mid December if we have to start officially from 1st Jan
Agree!
Haven't you heard, it's America First over here now?
This is nonsense. Are you gonna include Trump in your team. If you do, you better know I've got Modi who is more famous than Trump in America.
