I finally finished Resistance Money last night. It took me a while because I read my kindle in bed before I go to sleep and I usually only last a few minutes. That's no reflection on the book, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am toying with the idea of writing a review, but I want to get some opinions from stackers first.
I found it to be a very well written, lively discussion of bitcoin that explains even technical ideas in plain language. I like the objective approach, addressing criticisms and fud head on. The overarching question is whether the world is better off because bitcoin exists.
What is the general opinion of the book among stackers?
Did you like the fact that the authors approached the book from a philosophical perspective?
Did you believe their claimed objectivity?
Full disclosure: They seemed like closeted maxis to me.
