Ha! I didn't notice the thematic connection at the time: You're stuck in the past, old man!
Yes I am living in some obtuse triangle of time consisting of the late 80s when the 49ers were winning superbowls, early to mid 90s when the blue jays were in the playoffs every year and winning 2 world series and late 2010s when the Raps were a playoff team and eventual champion.

Watching Colorado Buffaloes vs Kansas Jayhawks. Colorado is losing right now but Sanders is playing really well.

I saw one of his nice TD throws.

He seems very poised for a young QB. Saw one third and long where he shook off a blitzer, stepped up in the pocket and delivered a great first down throw. He also has the scramble ability but with that pocket presence, I can see why some have him going #1.

Do you see him as having the most potential or being the most NFL ready?

NFL Network is showing a replay of the Packers vs 49ers Divisional playoff game from last year. The good old days before I had to join your losers club.
reply
Ah yes, NFL Network replays are where all of our teams are always still good. It's a magical place.
I saw that Cowherd declared the 49ers season over.

Seems likely but if they can find a way to pull out a win tomorrow without Purdy and Bosa and the Cardinals lose they will actually be in a pretty good spot all things considering.
Pretty big if though. Green Bay is good and at home. CMC, Deebo and Kittle will have to go off and the D play their best game of the year.

On the bright side. If they do miss the playoffs they should be able to get a good OLineman or DE in the first round. Of course Kyle won't do that and will draft another WR or RB.
Maybe TE. They need a TE2. Seems like a good use of a first round pick.

I wouldn't have thought so, but if there's another Brock Bowers to be had...
Hard to say about NFL ready. I think he has the most potential but Ward has a chance to be really good too.
