I cannot humiliate my dogs by putting clothes on them. I would like to think they have some pride and would not suffer this embarrassment, but perhaps I'm being selfish.

You're absolutely right! I don't like it either. An animal is an animal, not a person! If they don't want to get wet, they won't go out in the rain. If they do, it's because they don't care.

I'm grateful for the rain, but watching wet, stinky dogs shaking themselves off on the expensive rug is not a pretty sight.
