My father-in-law doesn’t drink sake, swearing by his allegiance to shochu (like all good Kyushu men do). Nonetheless, he took the trouble to buy not just one, but two bottles of sake for me - in anticipation of my homecoming.

My primary love language isn’t physical gifts, but I felt his love. ❤️
